It's the time of year for seeking out fungi and County Recorder Julian Branscombe is again leading an event for us. Finstown offers a good range of habitats so we will start with a look at grassland fungi in the Kirkyard, then hunt for woodland species at Binscarth. All welcome whether beginner, expert, old and young! Warm, waterproof clothing and footwear advised (Binscarth can be muddy) Bring along a snack and drink and prepare for an extended visit if you want to explore the woods.
