Join us in doing some practical maintenance work at the young woodland opposite KGS - in the open space off The Meadows. The woodland was planted to commemorate all the lives lost during the sinking of the ‘Hampshire’ in 1916. We’ll be weeding, removing some of the guards and generally putting things right ready for the winter. Bring gloves, secateurs, scissors, hammers etc (but we will have some tools to hand) and wear warm, old clothing. A flask and snack might be useful too. For more info contact Jenny - [email protected]
