It’s another busy footballing weekend coming up with the ever popular Northern Counties competition sponsored for the sixth year by Orkney Aggregates being played on Saturday. This year sees Ross County’s Under 12’s squad looking to win the trophy for the third year in a row. In this year’s competition County will be joined by Premiership neighbours Inverness Caley Thistle as well as Caithness and Shetland. A total of 10 teams including two from Orkney will participate in two groups of 5 with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals. The competition kicks off at the Picky Infield at 11am on Saturday with the final due to be held at 2.40pm. Full list of fixtures available HERE.
