Primary Indoor Football Kick Off next Saturday

The Primary Indoor Football League will be kicking off next Saturday 31st October with a 4pm KO at Picky. This is a competition which is now in its 29th year and is thoroughly enjoyed by players and coaches, and is hugely popular and well supported by parents.

This year there are a record 24 teams taking part, which is one more than last year.  This includes additional teams from Glaitness – the Swans and a Hope/Burray Terriers team; a Stenness Falcons team instead of the combined Stenness/Orphir team, but only one team from Firth – Firth Scorpions. All teams are playing on the opening week with the opening match being a St Andrews derby between Twisters and Hurricanes.

Glaitness will be looking to secure the premier Mount Cup for the third year in a row while Firth will be hoping to repeat last year’s success in the Shore Shield for the smaller primary schools. We wish all the teams a successful and enjoyable winter of indoor football. Click HERE to access the full draw for the first half of the season.
