Ridiing Club Show and Jumping Event

Here is the schedule for our Summer Show on the 9th of June in Dounby Showpark.  It’s an Open Show so please share it with anyone you think may be interested in entering.

We have some new classes and championships this year. Following requests we have added in 2 Inhand Condition & Turnout classes, and we will have a Senior & Junior Turnout Champion.  We will also have a Horse and Pony Champion in the Ridden section, and we have a Mini WHP Championship for riders 10 years and under.  57 classes in all, so plenty to choose from, and plenty for us to keep on top off!   As you can imagine a show of this size needs plenty of folk on the ground, so please get in touch if you could help steward or arena party in the WH – even if just for half a day – we’d love to hear from you!

We must say a big Thank You to all our Class Sponsors – there is no way we could put on a show of this size without their continued support.

Thanks also to everyone who has put forward trophies in the past, and we have some new trophies this year. The Gemma Leslie Rosebowls for the Turnout Champions, the Murphy Memorial Cup for the Lead Rein, the Heatherhouse Trophy for the Ridden championship, and Ziggy’s Quaich for the Inhand Veteran. All the trophies we have are listed against their corresponding class on the schedule.  If anyone would like to present a trophy for a specific class that doesn’t have one then get in touch.

Hopefully the schedule is easy enough to follow, any questions just ask – but I won’t guarantee I can answer them!!  Printed copies will be available at the Market Stance for this weekend.

And we must be mad because on the Sunday we will run a Fun Jumping Competition over the dressed WH Course, although it will run as a Showjumping event with SJ Rules & Scores and no Showing! The entry form is on the link above.
