Holm Sailing Club is based in the village of St. Mary's. Points racing is held during the summer in Snipe dinghies on Tuesday evenings.
Club News
On Wednesday 1 May the Holm Sailing Club 2024 sailing started with the official launching of the safety boat and Fun Wednesday sailing.
On Tuesday 7 May the Tuesday evening points racing is due to start. The race start is due at 7.00pm.
Holm Sailing Club took part in the annual Bag the Bruck this year, thanks to everyone who helped out. The Holm Sailing Club events calendar can be seen here. In addition to the Tuesday evening points racing the club will be hosting mixed sailing in various different classes of boat on Wednesday evening. Come along if you are interested!

For Sale
There are two Lasers for sale in Thurso, said to be in good condition with lots of spares. The boat numbers are 150739 (1993) and 133397 (1988). Get in touch with Andrew Leslie if you are interested.
Snipe News
The Snipe UK National Championships and the European Cup will be hosted by Stone Sailing Club this year:

Marlin Spike Rum are sponsoring The John Broughton Snipe European Cup (4 day event) taking place 15th – 18th August 2024 at Stone sailing club, Essex, and is being run in conjunction with the UK Snipe Nationals (3 day event) which starts on Fri 16th August. More information here. Teams from Orkney will be making the journey.
