Hello interested photographers,
Our next meeting , as already mentioned, should be to SWONA, on Tuesday August 5th. Those wishing to go, weather permitting, need to contact Steve Henderson; as he is organising this difficult to visit island.
Yesterdays meeting of our little group talked of various aspects of taking table top pictures at Albert St. in the case of inclement weather on any arranged meeting day. We aim to try various light sources. We have available, two small LED table lamps, one floor photo flood light. One member will bring along two or three Anglepoise table lights, and we do have a window! as well as candles. Tripods should not be necessary as I have spare camera mounting plates to fit my tripod. We also decided that in winter we could have meetings later in the day to catch (on clear days) the darkening conditions.
The following meeting will be on Tuesday 19 August, when we will visit Rinnigill on Hoy; It is opposite Lyness. We will have one car already on the island. More details to follow.
