Our charitable purposes are
The provisionof recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended
Our charitable objects are
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the island of Egilsay without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving sustainably the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
To secure the establishment of a community centre and other community facilities (hereinafter called the Centre) and to co-operate with Orkney Islands Council [OIC] in the maintenanace and management of the centre, for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent members in furtherance of the above objects or any of them.
