WEEE Update

We continue to be overwhelmed by the huge selection of electricals that are donated to us on a daily basis. When you think most of the electricals that we receive would of otherwise ended up in landfill or being incinerated is a very scary thought.

This Christmas if you are thinking of gifting someone something electrical why don't you pop down to Restart Orkney and see the wide selection we have in stock. They all are PAT tested before going on sale to ensure the safety of our customers.

Here is a peedie festive WEEE update to just give you a picture of the weight of electricals that have been donated and reused since the project began in September 2020.

The donated electricals is roughly the weight of 70 Reindeer

And the amount that has gone on to be reused is the rough weight of 38 Reindeer

Please continue to support this initiative and remember, anything with a plug, battery or cable can be reused or recycled!
