Time to Talk day is all about getting folk to start talking and thinking about mental health. We all know more about mental health now, but we still don't always take the best care of ourselves.
So, let’s make a conscious effort to not just check in on others but to check in on ourselves. We all are guilty of ignoring the niggles that are bothering us and sometimes it is easier to help someone else with their struggles than deal with our own.
If we have just described you, why don't you take 5 minutes to think about yourself and start to make yourself a priority.
It's okay to have bad days, make mistakes, be less than perfect (nobody is), need some space and need a break.
So, start today by looking after yourself and knowing that there is always someone to listen and help.
