Thank you to Karen Campbell at Highland Park Distillery

Many of you might remember that Restart Orkney had its first Restart Show on Friday 12th of August 2022. This was a fun filled day with stalls from our friends at St Colms, the Blide Trust and The Yard Plant Nursery, a raffle and bottle stall and a visit from the Ice Cream Van. This day proved to be a huge success but what you didn’t know was behind the scenes we had help from Karen Campbell from Highland Park Distillery who gave her own time to help make this day a success.

Karen came into the shop on Thursday 23rd of February to present Amy with a cheque for £4710.00. Highland Park is part of the Edrington Group & the Robertson Trust both of which match £1 for £1 by employees doing charity work. This money is a huge help for our peedie charity and will help us to give more opportunities for our staff and volunteers. We want to once again say a massive thank you to Karen for her continued support of Employability Orkney.
