Seal Pup Walk

by Megan - 20:12 on 29 October 2017

After a couple of days of gale force winds, the sun came out this morning for our Grey Seal Pup walk. 16 of us enjoyed a leisurely walk along the cliff top path, where we got fantastic views of the mums, pups and bulls below us. Approx 71 pups were counted, with some mums still to pup so there will be more to come in the next couple of weeks. There was quite a variety in the ages of the pups, some very newborn with the afterbirth still around, other almost fully moulted, and some were enjoying their first swimming lessons with mum.
