Holm Community Centre was gifted to the parish on 29.08.1924
To celebrate this occassion the Holm Community Association and friends are looking for any photos, artifacts, stories related to clubs/groups & events that have happened in the hall over the past 100 years.
Did you have your wedding reception in the hall - would you like to display your dress, photos, invites order of service?
Do you know what went on in the hall in the war time in the hall?
Do you remember any relations speaking about the gifting of the hall in 1924 or have any photos?
Some clubs that have been are:-Brownies, Guides, Toddlers, Recreation Club, Sunbeam Club, Sunday School, Youth Club, Boys Brigade, Bowling, Jui Jitsu, Pilates, Football Club, Cycling Club, Model Yaucht Club, SWRI, Cards, East Mainland Young Farmers - do you have any books/certificates/uniforms/photos/minutes?
Some events that have been are:- Gala Day & Parade, Kids Christmas Party, Seniors Party, Halloween Party, Tree Lighting, Craft Fair, Harvest Homes, Burns Suppers, - were you asked to make a speach, write a play or have any recordings of any concerts?
