Lesley took a group on a day trip to Westray. Arrived at Rapness and drove through to Pierowall. We visited Tulloch’s shop then went for lunch at the Pierowall, where the fish and chips were as good as ever, according to the folks who had them. Everything else was very tasty too!

Then we went to The Wheelan Steen, which was excellent. Then onto W I Rendall’s for some more shopping, followed by more in Hume Sweet Hume!

We then headed back towards Rapness and took in another grocer shop (don’t recall the name). Very busy day shopping!

Back to the pier to await the arrival of the boat and in the meantime popped open the picnic again! Great day had by all.
