Dave Phillips, Kayak Liaison officer for Shetland Coastguard will be giving a talk about kayakers and the coastguard, how to contact them, what services they offer etc etc at HM Coastguard Office, Cromwell Road, Kirkwall at 9.30am on Saturday 9th August. He also plans to have a more practical session afterwards. Organiser is Mary Saunders of OSKA and she needs to know numbers. Please indicate your interest in the first instance on the Feedback section of this website. There is also an opportunity to join OSKA and SCC for a paddle on Saturday afternoon.
