Congratulations to OSKA Chairman Nick Blowfield who recently gained his 4 Star Leader award in sea kayaking at an event held in Shetland.

Successful candidates must not only demonstrate personal paddling skill and competence in rough water but must lead and look after other paddlers while showing real awareness of what is happening around them.

Nick is only the third Orkney paddler to achieve this coveted award.
