An exciting start to the 2014/15 Primary Indoor Football league at a noisy and well supported season opener at Picky tonight. Five teams have won all three of their opening matches – Firth Scorpions, Papdale Flyers, Papdale Kings, Real Dounby and St Andrews Hurricanes. Performance of the night came from Evie who put in an excellent defensive performance to hold much fancied Glaitness United to a 0-0 draw. Amongst the smaller schools it looks like it will be a tight race for the Shore Shield with Firth Scorpions narrowly beating Hope/Burray Hotspurs 1-0 in a key match between two of the likely contenders.
