St Andrews are primary champions

The weather delayed Gilmour Shield was well worth the wait as both the glorious weather and closely fought competition made for an excellent day of primary football at the KGS football pitches. It was fitting that the two best sides made it to the final and no surprise that the teams could not be separated after extra time as the final score between Glaitness  A and St Andrews Hurricanes ended 1-1.  Neither team deserved to lose but in the end it was goalkeeper Findlay Cooper who was the St Andrews hero saving 3 Glaitness penalties as they won the penalty shoot out 3-1.
