It’s another busy footballing weekend coming up with the ever popular Northern Counties 7-a-side competition being played on Saturday at the Picky Infield. This year sees Ross County’s Under 12’s squad joined by Premiership neighbours Inverness Caley Thistle as well as Caithness and Shetland. A total of 10 teams including two Orkney county teams will participate in two groups of 5 with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals. The competition kicks off at 11am on Saturday with the final due to be held at 2.40pm. The fixtures are as follows:
