Just a thought .....
Let’s remind ourselves of what happened in that week so long ago – this week. From his enthusiastic welcome into Jerusalem on the day we call Palm Sunday, Jesus quickly wears out his welcome. The Gospels combine to tell us that on Monday Jesus curses the fig tree (Matthew 21:12-13; a difficult story!) and he disrupts the Temple practice and challenges the religious establishment.
