Just a thought...
Prayer for those whose hearts are hurting:
May you pinpoint that painful place where it feels like a vice is squeezing away your life and joy, then may you feel for the persistent pulse beneath that pain, may you marvel at how your heart, even under duress, is still beating out a rhythm for the rest of your body to follow, and may you follow that rhythm, knowing that the pain will eventually transform into something else, and that this steady beat is always available, especially when you need to find your groove again. Amen
