New Interim Moderator for Orphir with Stenness
The Orkney Presbytery has appointed Rev John L McNab, Minister of North Ronaldsay with Sanday, to be Interim Moderator of Orphir with Stenness. He replaces Rev Fiona Lillie who has been called to St John's, Renfield in Glasgow.
The vacancy proceedures for Orphir, Stennes and Stromness have been sisted (halted) meantime while the matter of readjustment (organisational arrangements) is considered.
The Presbytery has also appointed a Vacancy Proceedure Committee and Advisory team with Rev Trevor Hunt as Convener and Clerk to both.
