Thursday 15th March at 3.45 ish! Messy Church!
We are running a Messy Church for the young and the "young at heart" in the community room at the Stenness School. It's for the whole family - children should encourage their parents or grandparents or any other special adult to come with them. The "young at heart" can come along and just muck in even if you don't have a child to bring with you. Come straight from school - we'll start around 3.45pm with a cuppa, juice and biscuits (don't worry if it takes a bit longer to get from Orphir - we'll make sure you get something when you arrive). Then it's on to craft work on a Mother's Day theme; a short time of worship and then we'll all eat together and it's time for home at about 5pm. If you have any suggestions or want to come and help or just encourage the children then you will be more than welcome. We are especially looking for wrapping paper and small (empty) plastic bottles. If you have anything else we could use this time or the next then bring it along. All we ask from those who come is for a donation to cover costs. Whether it is a success or not is up to those who come, though fun is guaranteed. Alison.
