Orphir and Stenness call new Minister
Following a unanimous vote by the congregations of Orphir and Stenness, Hoy and Walls and Flotta the Rev Alison Burnside has been called to serve as Minister for the linked Parishes. On Sunday it was announced that 80 votes had been cast in favour with none against, and it is with great joy that we welcome Alison as our new minister.
Her Induction Service will be conducted by the Orkney Presbytery on Saturday 8th October at 12 noon in Orphir Church and she will lead worship in Orphir at 10.45am on Sunday 9th October.
All will be very welcome.
