1700 The Fishing weigh-in at Kettletoft - See who caught the biggest mackerel, cuithe, cod.... and the most impressive trout

Whisky sampling/tasting with an expert at Belsair: if you'd like to take part in this event, please register your interest in advance with Liz Brown (Mill Cottage) on 01857-600730 as soon as possible, and no later than 31st July. Places will be limited - there will either be one session from 1800-1930, or two hour-long sessions 1800-1900; & 1900-2000.
From 1930: barbecues will be under way between Kettletoft and the Pierhead/weighbridge area... enjoy hot dogs & hamburgers; and try some of the Fresh Fish Fry.
Live Music while you munch.... and prize presentations to the Fisher-folk
Sunday 7th - Sail around the Island - and then join the Food Festival

1100-1400 - Cruise Sanday in the mv 'Varagen' : listen to local guides who will point out features on land and sea - and enjoy a musical interlude with local band 'Fiddle About' on board.

The Sanday Soulka Grand Raffle Prize Draw will be made during the feast, at 1630, and awards will be made to the winner & runner-up of the Gardening Club's 'Position a Planter' competition.
