Home-Brew

In 2011 and 2012 Whisky-tasting was a popular event. This year, entries were invited for home-brewed drinks - kit or real beer and/or wine or soft drinks. There were more than 20 entries, and 54 willing volunteers paid to sample the drinks and vote for their top three....

Raymond Brown, the organiser, anounced the resiults outside Kettletoft Hotel, the venue. Winners were Kaye Towrie (cider), Robbie Hewison (real beer) ....

... and Jean MacEwan (wine - and 'Landlord's choice' of beer).
