Normally at this time of the year we would have started rehearsals, set construction and painting, and costume making for a Christmas Show. Alas, this cannot happen due to the current virus restrictions. The Club has continued activities in 'virtual' format (Zoom), with Quiz Nights and Play Readings – and we will have be having a 'virtual' Christmas Party to which all members, family, friends, and supporters will be warmly welcomed.

However, as well as being a lot of good fun for our members, and the audiences of friends, family and supporters who come to see the performances, the annual Christmas Show is the main fundraising activity which covers the annual running costs of the Club.

The running costs (stores rental, insurances, fees, etc) will continue to be necessary outgoings, and so we are making a special plea to all our members and supporters to financially sustain the Club at this time by continuing to pay a modest subscription.

The subscription rates remain at:

• Full member: £5
• Youth members (16 to 18 year olds) £5
• Junior members (under 16) £3
