With the Stromness Plays competition having closed with a fantastic 22 entries, the anonymised plays are now in the hands of the judges; Rachael McGill, Gerda Stevenson, Pam Beasant and Graham Garson. They have the tough job of selecting their favourites with the winners being announced at our event on Sunday 30 June at 4pm in Stromness Town Hall.

At the event we will start by announcing the winners, reveal a bit about their plays and provide more information for those interested in acting in or directing any of them, to make up a suitable programme for the concluding event of the project on 1 November. A fun directing workshop will then provide a taste of what directing involves for anyone interested. Light refreshments will be available.
