Visitors from Iceland (2)
Egilsay Community Association welcomed a group of 23 visitors from Iceland who had come to see St Magnus Church and the Commemorative Cairn.
Despite grey skies the rain kept off until after their walk then guide 'Magnus' gave a talk about St Magnus and the Orkneyinga Saga
Then followed a light lunch provided by Egilsay residents - many thanks were extended for the delicious homemade bread, soup and cakes and lots and lots of coffee!!!
