Good Paddling and Best Wishes for 2009. Pool Training sessions went well during November and December 2008. Our coaches are very pleased with the enthusiasm and good progress made by those attending. Following the break over the Christmas and New Year period, Pool Training resumes in Kirkwall Swimming Pool on Tuesday 6th January 2009 from 8.30 to 10.00pm. We look forward to welcoming you all again. New Members are always welcome and can join others for the pool training sessions. Skills learned are put to good use in the summer during paddling trips around the Orkney coast and to some of the nearby islands. Congratulations to KKC’s newest Coach, Kelda Dinsdale who obtained her Level 1 Coaching Award by attending two weekend courses recently, in wintry Inverness. Kelda showed great commitment by undertaking her training in cold, windy, frosty and snowy conditions.
