Kirkwall Kayak Club Chairman, Graham Summers, has resigned from his post with immediate effect. Our very capable Vice Chairman, Kristian Cooper, will take over in the meantime. Graham needs to concentrate on developing his scaffolding business and we wish him every success. The good news is that this dynamic paddler and talented coach will still be around to pass on his skills to our enthusiastic and growing band of young (and not so young!) members. Under Graham's chairmanship, the club has gone from strength to strength and this year we have a large number of beginners attending our training sessions at Kirkwall Swimming Pool on Tuesday evenings.
