Details of another seven Orcadian sailors who died in the Great War at sea, kindly provided by Peter Mathieson and including a joiner born in Longhope who died when SS Lusitania was sunk, have been added to the Memorials list. Material recently added includes the biography of John Basford, CSM instructor of No. 7 (Kirkwall) Company of the Orkney Royal Garrison Artillery at the start of the Great War.
