The service records of Australians who served in the Great War have been available for (free) download from the Australian Archives for a couple of years now.  The New Zealand Archives have recently started to make the service records of some of that country's Great War soldiers available for (free) download.  A Word biography based on the service record and family details of Evie born Andrew Baikie, who lost a leg less than a month after he joined 2nd Battalion, Canterbury Regiment in Flanders has been added to the Evie & Rendall page of the website Memorials section.  A pdf copy can be downloaded direct using the link below.
