A good new photo has been added to the Sandwick section of the website of Private John Rae Garson, who was killed in France aged only 18 on 10th April 1918 serving in 1/6th Battalion, The Black Watch.  The photo was kindly sent to the website by Keith Adamson, whose family came from Birsay, while he got it from Orcadian Stewart Miller.  The photo can be seen directly using the link below.
