Representatives of the Orkney Branch of the Royal Naval Association and both Kirkwall and Stromness Branches of the Royal British Legion visited Lyness Royal Naval Cemetery on Wednesday.  They laid wreathes at the HMS Vanguard Memorial on the 97th Anniversary of the battleship's tragic loss and Kirkwall RBL President Bryan Taylor recited the appropriate words of remembrance from Binyon's poem "For the Fallen".  A short report and a couple of photos of the visit can be seen using the link below.
