Our indoor arena at the Market Stance was opened on 19th September 2004
by Ian Stark OBE and is now available for hire by anyone in the community.

Orkney Riding Centre is a multi-sport community facility paid for with funds raised by the Orkney riding community and by generous grants from Orkney Islands Council's Community Development Fund for the New Millenium, SportScotland, Forward Scotland, Orkney Enterprise, Ness Trust and the Rotary Club.

New Arena Surface and Cross Country Course
Over the winter months of 2014 - 2015, with further grant aid from SportScotland and Orkney Islands Council Community Development Fund, we imported and laid a new surface by Flexiride in the indoor arena and end outdoor arena and built a new cross country course.

Our new course of cross country jumps was designed and built by Silver British Eventing accredited builder, Lloyd Hunt of LandS Eventing.
