HALLOWEEN
Orkney Branch of The Pony Club held a Halloween Party at the Market Stance on Friday 29 October.
There was a prize for the best costume and the best neepie lantern, clapshot and mince supper followed by jelly and ice cream, splat the rat, stick the nose on the witch, fortune telling by Ghastly Gipsy Suz and much, much more. Everyone had a torch and the lights were suitably adjusted to provide the right spooky atmosphere.
Right at the end we had the Ghostly Tunnel where everyone crawled through a narrow twisty tunnel full of horrible surprises. Booby traps filled with baked beans or jelly, creepy hanging obstacles which rubbed against your face in the dark- terrifying, but such fun!

PANTOMIME
On Saturday and Sunday 27 - 28 November 2004, Orkney Branch of The Pony Club and lots of friends staged a pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, on horseback in the indoor arena. There was a cast of over 70 people and 20 horses. Both perfomances were sell outs and despite the cold the show was immensely enjoyed by both audience and cast.
This pantomime with a real difference was written and produced by Carol Taylor and Toots Cromarty.
