The adventure of Shakers is at a close. Having enjoyed the pleasures of Brechin, Kirkcaldy and Harrogate, we end with heads held high for the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm we showed over our various performances.

Having the opportunity to perform in a variety of venues across the UK has been a privilege and has presented our crew with new challenges to overcome each time, which they did with good humour and patience.

Our supporters from Orkney and further afield were out in force at each stage of the competition and we are very grateful to our families and friends old and new for that.

We didn't lift the trophy in Harrogate but we still feel like winners - and hey, we're the 2019 SCDA Scottish Champions! 😍🏆

Congratulations to Woking College Theatre Company (England) for their winning production of Education, Education, Education; and well done to our fellow performers Unknown Theatre Company (Wales) on their play Constellations and Theatre 3 Newtonabbey (Northern Ireland) who performed A Bench at the Edge - all cream of the crop in their respective countries. It was a pleasure working alongside you.
