Only a few more days until the run of performances of our musical, Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim begins - and that means if you haven't already bought your tickets, you run the risk of missing out on seeing a fantastic show!
Into the Woods is a 1987 revisionist fairy-tale musical that debunks the happy ending - featuring a pile-up of Brothers Grimm fairy-tale characters both high- and low-born - and its forest setting yielding equal parts enchantment and disillusionment. Questions of love and justice, courage and cunning, liberty and loss are considered, echoing the ways in which all of us, at some point in life, venture “into the woods” and occasionally “stray from the path,” courting danger to ourselves and others.
There is good availability for the Tuesday and Wednesday shows (5th and 6th Dec) with fewer seats left for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (7th, 8th and 9th Dec) - and we'd love for as many people as possible to come and support our hard-working cast and crew.
Tickets priced £12 or £8 available from J B Rosey in Stromness, or online at Ticketsource: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/stromness-drama-club/e-kdaaka
