A course which could be a lifesaver for you and your passengers
Orkney Disability Forum are now able to offer a course in Minibus Emergency Evacuation Procedures to complement our MiDAS training.
The course lasts two and a half hours and will cover:
-learning about Fire Extinguishers
-Hazards, types of vehicle fires and reducing risk
-techniques for evacuating passengers safely
There is a classroom session followed by an equipment demonstration then practical excersises and senarios of vehicle fires carried out in a smoke filled minibus.
To make the minibus evacuation as realistic as possible we need at least 6 candidates on each course
However for groups of six or more, we would be prepared to come to you, if you have a suitable venue, at a mutually agreed time.
