Following the excitement of the league competition the focus this Saturday turns to the knockout cup competition – the TSB Trophy with 30 teams competing. The format for the competition sees teams split into groups of four with Groups 1 & 2 being played this Saturday and Groups 3 & 4 the following week. The top 2 teams in each of the groups go forward to the TSB Trophy with the remaining teams competing for the Reid Crescent Shield in the final week.

This competition has an added attraction with a number of additional younger teams joining the recognised league teams. This week sees the appearance of Stromness Strikers, Glaitness Pirates, Papdale Knights and AC Dounby, who will be looking to upset the more experienced teams. Games are 4 minutes duration or a winning margin of 4 goals. The full fixture list for the first two weeks is available HERE.
