We are a Church of Scotland Church who are actively and prayerfully seeking a new Minister for our small and very friendly congregation of about 42 members. Please feel free to read our Parish Profile to find out more about us and our island community.
Our services are held every Sunday morning at 11am when a warm welcome is extended to all, whether regular worshippers or those who attend occasionally or are visiting the island. Tea, coffee & biscuits are served after each service.
Since we are now without a minister we very much appreciate the efforts of local people who ensure services are held Sunday by Sunday.
As well as the normal Sunday services additional services are held at certain times of the year, especially at Easter and Christmas. Our 'Carols by Candlelight' is a special time on our church calendar and is well supported by members of the community as is the 'Watchnight Service' on Christmas Eve. On alternate months we hold the 'Peedie Library' in the church hall where folk can browse & borrow books whilst enjoying a cuppa & a biscuit. We also support the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal each year.
If you happen to travel our way, we extend a warm invitation to you to join us in worship and fellowship.
