BIRDIE GROUP FEBRUARY

Hi All Thank you all for attending the birdie walk today. It was a slow start for observations but as the time progressed more and more birds were sighted so all was not lost, I recorded all told about 20 different species on the short time out so not bad for a February day, I think the nine shell ducks that I witnessed flying in at Mill Bay take the prize and the large flock of lapwings which put on a display, but just being able to see the birds without being buffeted by wind or rain was a bonus. The next outing will be on 25th March which will be about Hobbister /Waulkmill led by Alan, more on this nearer the time. Cheers Ken
