by Angela - 14:48 on 19 March 2016

The U3A scrabble group shares e few new (to us) words that we have recently come across in our games -
If only we could use them in our day to day conversations!
But the opportunity does not happen that often!!

Aggri-African beads
Zep-a long sandwich
Toke-a drag on a canabis cigarette
Ankus-a stick for goading elephants
Vav -"V" in Hebrew
Vaw-"W" in Hebrew
Matei-a New Zealand tree
Friz-a course fabric
Fink-inform
Oyer-an assize
Gleba -mass of spores
Skaw -headland
Faa-fall
Fritz-state of disrepair
Trin-triplet

We meet weekly-though not all of us attend each session -
Scrabble players are welcome to give the group a try -
We can guarentee some laughs and a challenge
Angela
