U3A Walking Group - 27 May 2022

Ten of us met today at the Bu Round church in Orphir. The forecast of rain was completely wrong although there was a brisk breeze from the north west. The sun shone and the paths were drier than anticipated. A pleasant stroll along the cliffs past a variety of wild flowers took us to the turn up to Gyre Woods. However, it was so nice that we walked on to Swanbister Pier instead and had a short rest out of the wind there. Back along the cliff to Gyre Woods where we turned in to look at the Bluebells especially. Then back along the back road to the starting point. Lots of chat and pleased we had been out on such a lovely morning.
The next walk will be Thursday 30th June.
