u3a Walking Group - 17 April 2026 - Burray

WALK ON FRIDAY 17TH APRIL LED BY GRAHAM DINELEY
The first walk in its new format took place on Friday, 17th April, with Graham leading a walk at Burray. Unfortunately, the weather worsened by Friday, resulting in misty and quite windy conditions. Five hardy souls braved the blustery wind for an enjoyable walk. Starting from the Community car park, the group followed a minor road briefly before turning right onto a road and track to Burray Hill, where the mist cleared. After a short break, they descended on the west side, continued along a path, then took a minor road to Littlequoy and a bridleway past the ruins of Ouraquoy, eventually returning to the car park. It was a super 4.3 mile walk, one to repeat when the weather improves. Many thanks to Graham.
Walks take place on the first Monday and third Friday each month.
