Lesley driving today:

The mystery tour ended up being a wee tour around the West Mainland.

We started at 10am by heading to Outertown and towards Billia Croo, not quite that far though, then back in and out Brownstones Road and around The Loons, coming out at Westfield, out via Cauldhame then by Kirbister. From there we went out to Yesnaby to catch the view. 

We headed over to Quoyloo and past the Brewery, next time we may go in!! 

We then headed out to Birsay and the view point across from the Brough but the path was completely submerged so no one attempted the walk across, obviously! 

From there we came back via Marwick and really just roamed the countryside, going on roads some of the passengers and I had never been before! 

We ended up at the Standing Stones for our lunch, which was delicious. The service and atmosphere was lovely. Eleven full, sleepy, satisfied customers, I hope! Everyone enjoyed their trip and we were all back home just before 4pm.

The next trip is scheduled for 30th September and is to Westray.  I will be driving that day and we are hoping for good weather, like we had last year.
