The Friends of Happy Valley became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Association in early 2014 to formalise the role as the group who assists in the care and management of Happy Valley, which is owned by Orkney Islands Council.

At our AGM on 21 June 2022 the trustees are (and therefore the committee consists of):

Chair: Joe Horrocks

Treasurer: Jamie Bodley-Scott

Secretary: Vacant

Committee: Elaine Sutherland, Karen Walker, Isobel Kennedy, Jon Barker, Shelagh Sneesby, Kay MacNair, Karis Christie.

NOTE: the AGM for 2023 scheduled for 26 October 2023 was not quorate and so a new committee of trustees was not able to be formed. The 2022 committee remains in place, without the members that indicated they wish to step down. A new date for the rearranged AGM in order to form a new committee of trustees is being arranged for early January 2024.
