No doubt everyone will know that Loganair have suspended all flights between Inverness and the Islands until May. This has caused us a bit of an issue. We had considered getting the boat,however, Loganair have come back to me today and agreed to re-route us via Aberdeen for the same cost. This will result in the following flights:

20th April Kirkwall to Aberdeen 10:30

20th April Aberdeen to Sumburgh 14:25

23rd April Sumburgh to Aberdeen 16:00

23rd April Aberdeen to Kirkwall 18:25

Anyone who qualifies and wants to travel will need to be available Thursday-Sunday. At the moment I would say that probably 4 players are guaranteed to make the team (you know who you are). A few others are very close and then it’s very tight for some of the remaining places.

Can anyone who thinks they may make the team (bear in mind there will be 3 wildcard picks and 2 further reserves picked) make sure they have an ADS card and PIN. If not, apply for one straight away just in case. We don’t want to be in the position of the league or any individuals having to pay additional costs for a non ADS flight.

Craig Taylor will be the team captain for any questions once the final team is selected. This will be the Monday night after the last ranking competition which is the League Singles next Friday 17th March.
