Kirkwall and District Darts League has presented its first charity cheque of the season - to the Fishermen’s Mission.

The charity was represented by Mission Area Officer for Orkney and Caithness Jackie Dodds and Assistant Operations Manager Ruth Charles, who received a cheque for £500, from money raised at the Davy Cooper Memorial Darts competition.

£500 was raised for Kirkwall RNLI at the same event, a presentation will take place in the near future.
